Ofsted

The Department for Education requires that all schools are inspected approximately every four years by teams of inspectors who are registered by OFSTED (Office for Standards in Education). The reports of these inspections are published and made available to all parents.
St Alban’s was last fully inspected in January 2026.
Inspection under the renewed Ofsted framework
What makes this inspection particularly significant is that St Alban’s was among the first schools in the country to be inspected under Ofsted’s new inspection framework. Under this revised approach, Ofsted no longer issues a single overall judgement. Instead, schools receive a detailed report card containing separate evaluations across multiple areas. More information regarding the new report card system can be found on the video link below: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kbl0FvY976g
A copy of this latest full inspection can be found below or upon request from the school office.
