History workshops Sept 19

Year 4 enjoyed an action-packed day learning how to be Roman soldiers, using their specially designed Roman shields, following commands and showing military discipline. They used freeze framing to show what Roman life was like, from riding chariots to experiencing a Roman feast. The children had a brilliant time learning what life was like for a Roman Soldier.

The year 6 children really enjoyed a workshop all about life during WWII. They learnt about the different types of air-raid shelters and tried on some gas masks. The children had a wonderful time immersing themselves in their learning of this period of history.
