Home Learning

During this period of learning at home, we are planning to build up resources for parents and children to access from home.

Keeping routine and structure are key for both parents and children at this time.  You will have received a recommended learning time table but another copy can be found below. All the activities on the website are only additional ideas should you wish to use them and not compulsory.

You will find the children’s main learning on their google classroom so the resources on the website are only additional help should you wish to use them.

The resources are a blend of activities from the different core subjects and will be aimed at the age-related expectations of the year group. They are designed to consolidate what children have previously covered due to the limitations of delivering new concepts and ideas through this method.

Children will need support (and some basic resources) to be able to complete the activities. Some will take place inside but others can be done outside the house (in the garden for example). We plan to build on these resources over the next few weeks for those families self-isolating, but please bear in mind we are on reduced staffing and teaching in school too.

Please use the weblinks and documents attached to view activities.
